Activities
Our middle schools offer a wide range of activities and clubs that allow students to explore their interests, build connections, and get involved. From athletics to academic teams, creative arts to leadership opportunities — there’s something for every student to enjoy.
Cheerleading
The purpose of the Summit Trail cheerleading program is to provide the student body with an example of school spirit, good sportsmanship, and positive leadership. The role of a Summit Trail cheerleader is to encourage attendance at school events, perform at a level of excellence, display leadership qualities, and serve as ambassadors to Summit Trail and the student body. A cheerleader’s positive attitude, dedication, commitment to teamwork, and enthusiasm are equally important as the physical skills involved.

If you like to challenge yourself and have fun, welcome to the math club! We will meet during the school day at the designated club time. You need an open-mind, a notebook, and to be a math person. Be sure to carefully watch the school announcements for math club updates! Competition dates and other pertinent information will be shared through that medium.

Where Everyone Belongs (WEB)
WEB is a program that welcomes the sixth grade class to Summit Trail Middle School and supports them throughout their first year of middle school. WEB Leaders are eighth grade students on campus who are positive role models, responsible, possess leadership qualities, are kind and, most importantly, have a desire to give back to their school community. As a WEB Leader, students will be given the responsibility of managing and instructing a small group of 10 sixth graders on Orientation Day in a series of activities and throughout the school year. The WEB program is designed to offer support for the sixth grade class as well as help our eighth graders develop their full leadership potential.

Yearbook
The Summit Trail Yearbook is a publication that captures all the best moments of our time at Summit Trail Middle School and a beautiful depiction of our students' lifestyle. Yearbook staff members will learn about the publishing process, developing a theme, copy writing, design/layout, and photography. Yearbook is a yearlong elective available to eighth grade students. We love to include photos from our ST families in the yearbook. If you would like to send pictures of students, athletic events or school activities, please email them to our sponsor.
